This session explores the how title insurance safeguards the practitioner and their purchaser clients against any pre-existing defects in title created by previous owners and passed on without disclosure or discovery, including survey, boundary, encroachment issues, illegal building works or non-compliance with building permits and extends to coverage against loss of title due to fraud or forgery.
