We note the sad passing of Chris Jurd, a well-respected member of the Parramatta legal community on 24 June 2021 after a long illness.

Chris was made a Life Member of Parramatta Leagues Club only this year and was also a Life Member of the Eels Rugby League Club, both of which are very deserved acknowledgement for his service as a director of both the Leagues Club and Football Clubs.

As a lawyer, he volunteered much time to the Eels on legal matters, and also was a long time president of the Toongabbie Legal Centre.
